Salon Torched in Overnight Attack
Wild footage has emerged of two individuals sparking a massive fireball at a Sydney salon overnight. The pair were captured on CCTV, obtained by 7NEWS, outside the salon on Simmat Ave in Condell Park, southwest Sydney, at approximately 12:10 AM on Friday.
One of the suspects is seen squatting and appears to ignite an accelerant on the ground before becoming engulfed in the blaze. The other individual then ran to a nearby van and drove away from the scene.
Police confirmed that no one was inside the business at the time, and no injuries have been reported. An investigation has been launched into the fire, which authorities have described as suspicious.
Video footage shows two arsonists setting fire to a hair salon on Simmat Avenue in Condell Park, Sydney's southwest, just after midnight. The incident is currently under investigation by local law enforcement.
