A 32-year-old woman has been charged with murder after police discovered the body of a four-year-old boy inside a home on the New South Wales Central Coast. The child was found with significant arm injuries, prompting a homicide investigation.
Police Response and Discovery
Police were called to a home in Wyong on Saturday after the woman presented herself at the local police station. Officers attempted to speak with her but were unable to do so. Later that afternoon, they entered the residence and found the body of a young boy, believed to be four years old. The child had sustained severe injuries to his arms.
Charges and Court Appearance
The woman, who is believed to be known to the child, was arrested and charged on Sunday with murder, classified as a domestic violence offense. She was refused bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday. The child has not yet been formally identified.
