Samsung Unveils Ultra-Large 98-Inch Frame TV in Australia

Samsung has introduced a new 98-inch Frame TV in Australia, priced at $6,999, challenging the notion that larger televisions must be eyesores. The Ultra-Large 98-inch Frame Art TV is now available for purchase, offering a dual function as both a home entertainment system and a piece of artwork.

Australians Lead Demand for Lifestyle-First Displays

According to Samsung insights, Australians have more The Frame Art TVs per capita than any other market globally and buy more 75-inch TVs than any country in the southern hemisphere. The new 98-inch model and the 27-inch Movingstyle reflect a growing appetite for screens that deliver immersive viewing and seamless integration into modern living spaces.

Simon Howe, Director of Audio Visual at Samsung Australia, stated: "The TV has long been the heart of the Australian home. Samsung has spent decades reimagining what a TV looks like and how it adapts to individual circumstances to offer Australians solutions that thrive in various living spaces." He added that Australians value big screens for gathering and access to world-class art that complements home decor.

Technical Specifications and Design

The 98-inch The Frame is a 4K QLED TV, the largest dedicated Art TV canvas Samsung has brought to Australia. It joins the existing lineup of 43-inch to 85-inch options. The TV features a sleek design with a width of 30.9mm, an Amber Brown bezel, and a Slim Fit Wall Mount included for a near-flush mounted finish. It is coated with Samsung's Glare-Free technology to reduce reflections, and brightness sensors automatically adjust the picture for optimal viewing.

Art enthusiasts can access the Samsung Art Store's curated collection of over 5,000 world-famous artworks. Howe noted that Australians see value in screens that support work, learning, and entertainment needs for the whole family.
