Northampton Newsagency Sells Third $1 Million Lotto Ticket in Five Years
WA's Northampton Newsagency sells $1m Lotto ticket

A newsagency in the quiet West Australian town of Northampton is celebrating once again after selling a winning Lotto ticket that scored a $1 million division one prize.

Small Town's Big Win

The life-changing Millionaire Medley ticket was purchased from the Northampton Newsagency for the draw held on Monday, November 18, 2025. The ticket perfectly matched all the winning numbers: 37, 11, 4, 2, 5, and 7, with supplementary numbers 30 and 22.

This isn't the first time the small-town kiosk has been at the centre of a major lottery win. Owner Amanda Fraser expressed her delight, revealing this marks the newsagency's third division one prize in the last five years.

"We're such a small town and it's so exciting for us to have so many wins," Fraser said. "We have no idea who it could be, but it's always extra special when it's a local."

A Town of Champions

The farming community in the Mid West region is already famous for breeding some of the state's top AFL talent, including stars like Josh Kennedy, Patrick Cripps, Harry Taylor, and Andrew Lockyer. Now, it can proudly claim to be the home of Western Australia's newest millionaire.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender confirmed the win, noting it represents the 76th division one win for WA in 2025 so far.

"It's always brilliant to celebrate a division one win in the regions, and even more exciting off the back of last week's $50 million Powerball win," Wender stated.

A Flurry of Fortune for WA

Wender also highlighted that Western Australia has recently seen a series of major wins. "WA has celebrated a flurry of Millionaire Medley Division One wins over the last few months," she said.

Lottery players have more excitement to look forward to with the upcoming Black Friday Special Event. This promotion will give Millionaire Medley players the chance to double their prize across all divisions for three separate draws. This could see the Division One prize pool reach $2 million, with the potential for up to six winners across the three draws.
