Field of Joy

There will be no missing the large-scale installation from artist Marite Norris at the Scarborough Sunset Markets, as the 15 vibrant flags take centrestage against the setting sun every Thursday evening. Norris embraced her collage-based practice to create the flags, with the words joy, be, now and yes set against a colourful background used to encourage presence, connection and a shared sense of optimism. The flags will be on display at the markets until May 28.

Japanese lifestyle brand MUJI have debuted their autumn/winter 2026 collection titled Naturally Cosy, inviting wearers to slow down this winter. At the heart of the collection, filled with natural fibres and grounded tonal palettes, is the fabric of slow mornings — flannel.
