HX Expeditions Announces Expanded Greenland Voyage Collection for 2026-27
HX Expeditions has officially launched a new collection of Greenland voyages, set to commence in June 2026 and extend into the 2027 season. Into the Elements: Greenland Experience
At the core of this new collection is the "Into the Elements: Greenland Experience," a specially curated program designed in cooperation with a local Greenlandic operator and guides. This experience is tailored for small groups, with a maximum of nine guests, to provide an intimate and immersive adventure. Key components of the experience include:
- A 6km hike through the stunning landscapes of South Greenland.
- A shorter hike to a remote "glamping" base camp, equipped with toilets and showers for comfort.
- An overnight stay hosted by a local guide, featuring camp storytelling sessions that delve into Greenlandic traditions.
- A challenging 7.5km ascent to a series of breathtaking waterfalls, followed by the return hike.
- A science-focused boat trip that offers educational insights into the region's environment.
In addition to this flagship experience, the new collection from June onwards will introduce a variety of other activities. These include new boat cruises and excursions, two distinct kayaking options, and guided walks led by Inuit partners, all designed to enhance the travel experience with local expertise.
