Australian Idol's Top 12 Revealed After Electrifying Transformation Week
The final night of Australian Idol's highly anticipated Transformation Week has concluded, with the last four artists securing life-changing positions in the competition's Top 12. Across three electric evenings, twenty-one contestants delivered show-stopping performances and unveiled superstar makeovers, all striving to convince judges Marcia Hines, Kyle Sandilands, and Amy Shark that they deserve a coveted spot in this season's elite group.
Judges' Fast Passes Awarded to Standout Performers
Each judge held one powerful Fast Pass, granting them the authority to send a standout artist directly through to the Top 12 without further deliberation. On Monday, Charlie Moon's breathtaking rendition of The Beatles' classic With A Little Help From My Friends earned him Marcia Hines' Fast Pass. The 31-year-old soul singer from Perth expressed overwhelming emotion, stating, "This is crazy for me. Unbelievable. I'm in my 30s, this is the last roll of the dice — it means the world to me."
On Tuesday night, Kyle Sandilands awarded his Fast Pass to 18-year-old Harlan Goode from Queensland, who delivered an incredible transformation of Diana Ross' disco classic Chain Reaction into a heartfelt ballad. Sandilands praised the performance, saying, "I can't fault that in any way, shape or form. The only thing I can do is give you the Fast Pass."
Amy Shark's Fast Pass went to landscaper Kalani Artis, who elevated his stage presence with a powerful performance of Wherever You Will Go by The Calling. The 24-year-old from the NSW Central Coast impressed all three judges, with Marcia Hines noting, "The amount of heart you showed was beautiful. You took it to another place."
