Surprise Highland cows greet bride at Ferguson Valley wedding
Highland cows surprise bride at Ferguson Valley wedding

A Ferguson Valley wedding was made truly unforgettable when Highland cows appeared at the end of the aisle, much to the bride's delight.

Maddison Lee Gater, 28, and Reece Parton, 34

Maddison and Reece first met at Perth Motorplex in Kwinana. Their love story continued, and in December 2024, they became engaged in front of their Christmas tree, surrounded by their two children, Kolbee Jack and Frankee Bell.

The couple chose to exchange vows at the family-owned venue Twelve Pillars, nestled in the heart of the Ferguson Valley.

Reece surprised his bride on the day with Highland cows from Vizzari’s Highlands, waiting at the end of the aisle. In return, Maddison surprised her groom with an audio recording of their children speaking to Reece, played moments before she walked down the aisle.

When and where

The special day took place on March 21, 2026, at Twelve Pillars in the Ferguson Valley.
