The Bedhead Bar

Choosing a bedhead can be the starting point when styling a bedroom, according to Zenn Design founder Hannah Goldberg. Her brand's new showroom inside the gallery Cleo Collects, founded by Bronte Taton-Boulet, is a welcome addition for design lovers. The stylish collaboration, inspired by the quiet luxury of a European hotel suite, allows shoppers to feel and see upholstered bedheads, fabrics, and custom window furnishings from the Melbourne-based brand in Perth. The Bedhead Bar is available to view by appointment; see Zenn Design online.

Bon Elliot

After more than a decade working on her patients' skin, Perth-born dermatologist Dr. Bonnie Fergie found that they were not lacking products but rather clarity around them. With this in mind, Fergie has launched Bon Elliot, a brand built on a fewer-but-better philosophy. The debut product is the Hydrating Performance Serum, described as a bioretinoid alternative with peptides and actives to even skin tone, improve elasticity, and boost luminosity. It is priced at $220 and available at bonelliot.com.

Laufey

Singer-songwriter Laufey caused quite a stir with the music video for her latest song, Madwoman, starring Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams, Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu, actor Lola Tung, and KATSEYE’s Megan Skiendiel. The all-star cast filmed in the lead-up to Laufey (pronounced lay-vay) debuting at Coachella, depicting a "Slim Aarons-inspired world where the picture-perfect veneer is not quite as it seems." The LA-based Icelandic-Chinese artist, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist won a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for A Matter Of Time. She will tour Australia later this year, including a show at RAC Arena on July 25.

Bistro Massilia

Inglewood has a new European-style eatery that aims to become a neighbourhood favourite by offering a melting pot of food and drinks with great WA produce and relaxed, share-style dining. Named for the multicultural port city now known as Marseille, Bistro Massilia was opened this weekend by former Besk general manager David Pille. It takes over 965 Beaufort Street, best known as the original Cecchi’s. Dishes include a swordfish cotoletta with bouillabaisse, poached mussels and chervil butter, and a burger served halved on top of béarnaise sauce to encourage sharing.
