Lara Worthington stuns in $27k Louis Vuitton dress at NYC show

Aussie model Lara Worthington has made a significant fashion statement at a luxury runway event in New York, arriving at the Louis Vuitton 2027 Cruise Collection Show in a pink, floral draped dress valued at $27,300.

The 38-year-old paired the bold look with black shades, black heels, and her signature blonde bob. Considered a “statement dress” by Louis Vuitton, the boxy piece comprises 60 per cent viscose — a semi-synthetic type of rayon fabric made from wood pulp — and 40 per cent silk.

Attracting a host of A-list names, the event’s guest list included Zendaya, Emma Stone, Jennifer Connelly, Choe Sevigny, Cate Blanchett, and The Devil Wears Prada 2 stars Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt.

French-Belgian artistic director Nicolas Ghesquièr designed the collection, carrying a dozen years of experience at the luxury brand following a long-term stint at Balenciaga. The high-rolling showcase was hosted by the Mark Hotel in the Upper East Side.

On Saturday, Worthington was spotted attending the Gucci Cruise 2027 fashion show in NYC rocking a matching pink blazer and tight-fitting trousers while going braless.

Married to Aussie actor and Avatar star Sam Worthington, the couple resides in New York with their children Rocket Zot, Racer, and River. They tied the knot in an intimate Melbourne ceremony in 2014 surrounded by family.

Worthington, formerly Bingle, enjoyed a career as a model and reality TV personality in Australia before relocating to the US in 2013.
