Three individuals have been charged with murder following the death of a man who fell from a balcony in Sydney's northwest.

Incident Details

Police were called to a unit complex in Castle Hill at approximately 2:40 AM on Sunday after reports of shouting emanating from a balcony. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 44-year-old man suffering from severe injuries in a garden area outside the building. Despite paramedics' efforts to revive him, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation and Arrests

A crime scene was established, and homicide detectives were deployed to investigate the death. On Wednesday, police arrested a 38-year-old man at Castle Hill Police Station, charging him with murder. Subsequently, on Thursday afternoon, detectives attended a home in Woolloomooloo and arrested a 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman. Both were taken to Kings Cross Police Station and also charged with murder.

Legal Proceedings

All three accused have been refused bail and are scheduled to appear in court on Friday. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to piece together the events leading to the fatal fall.
