Australian actor Josh Heuston, known for his role as Justin Khol in the hit Prime Video series Off Campus, has ignited dating speculation after being photographed with his co-star Mika Abdalla in Paris. Fan-captured images circulating on social media show the pair in affectionate poses, fueling months of rumors that they may be more than friends.
Fan Photos Spark Speculation
Photos originally shared on TikTok depict Heuston and Abdalla cuddling in a convenience store, with one image showing Heuston cradling the back of Abdalla's head and another where Abdalla rests her hand on Heuston's arm. The Off Campus cast is known to be close-knit, often sharing moments on social media, but these images have particularly drawn attention.
Adding to the speculation, Heuston posted a photo on Instagram the same day showing the pair seated together on a flight. One fan commented, "My gosh, she’s having her real life Allie moment!!! I’m so happy for her." Some users questioned whether the images were genuine or AI-generated. Neither Heuston nor Abdalla has publicly addressed the rumors or the photos.
Recent Split from Fiancé
The dating rumors come just weeks after Abdalla confirmed her split from actor Jake Short. On June 1, Abdalla's representative told Us Weekly that the pair had ended their engagement after five years together. "Due to recent interest in Mika’s personal life it would feel remiss to not address that her and Jake are no longer together," the representative said. "They continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms, and kindly ask for privacy and respect."
About Off Campus
In the Prime Video adaptation of Elle Kennedy's bestselling college hockey romance series, Heuston plays sensitive musician Justin Khol, while Abdalla stars as Allie Hayes, best friend of the female lead Hannah Wells. The first season features Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham, Briar University's cocky yet charming star hockey player, opposite Ella Bright as Hannah Wells, a smart but guarded music major. The series has been renewed for a second season, with filming underway. The next installment is reportedly set to focus on Abdalla's character's romance with Dean Di Laurentis, played by Stephen Kalyn.
While Heuston is not expected to return for season two, he is a fan favorite to play Xaden Riorson, the brooding love interest in the TV adaptation of Rebecca Yarros' bestselling fantasy series Fourth Wing.
