ACE Cinemas, located in the coastal area of Rockingham, has officially announced that it will begin operating under the new name ACE HOYTS Rockingham starting this May. The collaboration between ACE Cinemas and HOYTS is not entirely new, as the two entities first joined forces in October 2023. This latest move follows a successful earlier project to revitalise the cinemas at Midland Gate in Perth's eastern region. HOYTS CEO and president Damian Keogh emphasised that the decision to rebrand the Rockingham location is driven by a commitment to providing an exceptional cinema experience for movie enthusiasts in the southern parts of Perth.
"We are thrilled to expand our partnership with ACE Cinemas at Rockingham. Drawing on the achievements at Midland Gate, we remain dedicated to offering a high-quality cinema experience for the local community," Mr Keogh stated. This partnership aims to leverage HOYTS' expertise and resources to elevate the entertainment offerings in the area.
Seamless Transition for Loyal Customers and Future Enhancements
Existing ACE Club Members will experience a smooth transition as they are transferred to the HOYTS Rewards Loyalty Program. This move ensures that loyal patrons can continue to enjoy member benefits, including savings on tickets and other perks. To celebrate this new chapter, the ACE HOYTS Rockingham cinema on Syren Street is slated to undergo a significant refurbishment in 2027.
