Spilt Milk Perth Set Times Revealed: Kendrick Lamar Headlines
Spilt Milk Perth Set Times & New Acts Unveiled

With less than two weeks to go, the excitement for Perth's Spilt Milk festival has reached a fever pitch as the official set times are finally released.

Stage Times and Schedule Clashes

The massive music event, taking place on Sunday, December 7, will transform the Claremont Showground with action kicking off before midday across three vibrant stages. Music lovers now have the crucial information to plan their day, discovering when their favourite artists will perform and if any unfortunate timing clashes will force tough decisions.

The festival has also announced two exciting new additions to the already impressive roster. Genesis Owusu, the acclaimed Ghanaian-Australian rapper, and indie rock singer Lotte Gallagher are now on the bill. They step in to replace Larissa Lambert and rapper D4vd, who was removed from the line-up following an investigation into a murder.

Kendrick Lamar Takes the Stage

Undoubtedly the biggest drawcard, Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar, will command the Angove Stage in a prime evening slot. His performance is scheduled from 8:35 PM until 9:50 PM, making him one of the final acts to close the night. He will be preceded on the same stage by other major acts like Doechii and Dominic Fike.

Meanwhile, the Basquait Stage will be the hub for high-energy DJ sets throughout the day, featuring acts like Skin on Skin, Club Angel, and Sara Landry. The night will conclude with Aussie DJ Restricted, though his set time has created a major dilemma for fans.

Fan Reaction and Festival History

A significant scheduling clash has left many festivalgoers distraught, as the hard techno of Restricted's closing set directly overlaps with Kendrick Lamar's headline performance. One devastated fan perfectly captured the collective sentiment, stating, "Kendrick and Restricted on at the same time is a felony."

The return of Spilt Milk is particularly sweet for dedicated fans, who have waited two years for its comeback after the 2024 event was cancelled without a public reason. For those still hoping to attend, there is good news: tickets for the Perth show are still available, unlike the completely sold-out events in Canberra, Ballarat, and on the Gold Coast.
