WA Day 2025: Over 50 Food Trucks to Serve Up Street Eats at Perdaman Eat Street

With three days to go until WA Day, more than 50 food trucks are preparing to feed a large crowd at the state's biggest celebration. The Perdaman Eat Street precinct at Burswood Park will offer a diverse range of local and international cuisines over the weekend.

Among the vendors is Street Food Lab, owned by Vic Tang, which specializes in authentic mixed Asian cuisine. The menu includes satay chicken skewers, karage chicken, and pork gyoza. Tang expressed pride in participating in WA Day festivities, saying, 'When you see someone happy with your food, you're also happy.'

Sunny Bhudia, owner of Chips on a Stick, has been feeding festival-goers for nearly a decade. His fully vegetarian menu features nachos, loaded fries, and the popular spiral chip on a stick. Bhudia noted the strong community spirit at WA Day, attracting a large volume of people of all ages.

KB's Creamy Creations, run by Kerryn Bradshaw, offers sweet treats like ice cream, fairy floss, donuts, and snow cones. The family business has been operating for 90 years. Bradshaw looks forward to the challenge of two full days and enjoys seeing children's reactions to their creations. Her favorite item is the indulgent Biscoff flurry, made with sauce and crushed biscuits.

Celebrate WA chair Scott Jones expressed excitement about the festival, thanking partner Perdaman for bringing the food precinct to life. The WA Day Festival is supported by BHP, the WA Government, and Lotterywest, with patrons encouraged to use public transport to Burswood Park.
