Ginuary: A Craft Gin Festival for a Cause

Ginuary takes place tomorrow from 5pm to 9pm at Perth City Farm. This exciting new craft gin festival is created by Variety, the Children's Charity of WA, bringing together some of Western Australia's top gin distilleries.

Attendees can sample gins from renowned producers like Beyond Distilling, Rainfall Distillery, and Wild Roads. A highlight includes an exclusive small batch of mango gin by former AFL star and distiller Chris Masten, along with distiller Greg Garnish.

Visitors will enjoy the variety of gins while snacking on canapes and listening to live music from a saxophonist and DJ. Tickets are priced at $133.75 and are available from Humantix.

Focus: First Nation Films in Fremantle

Focus: First Nation Films is happening today from 4pm to 8.30pm and tomorrow from 5pm to 8.30pm at the Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre in Fremantle. This event is part of the City of Fremantle's Truth Telling Program.

It features screenings of short and feature-length films, as well as insightful talks. On Saturday, author and human rights advocate Thomas Mayo will deliver a keynote address on what a reconciled Australia could look like in 2050.

This will be followed by the short film Babanil and the feature film Wash My Soul In The River's Flow. Sunday's program includes a screening of the short film Babakiueria and the feature film Genocide In The Wildflower State, followed by a panel discussion with Yokai and Bringing Them Home WA Inc.

Hancock Prospecting Australia Day Celebrations

Hancock Prospecting Australia Day celebrations will be held on Monday, January 26, from 3pm to 9.30pm at Langley Park in Perth. This City of Perth event stretches over a kilometre, offering plenty of family-friendly fun.
