Doja Cat Calls Perth 'The S***' in Bizarre TikTok Tribute After Tour Launch
Doja Cat's Bizarre Love Letter to Perth After Concert

American superstar Doja Cat has delivered one of the most unexpected and memorable endorsements of Perth, proclaiming the West Australian capital is 'the s***' in a bizarre yet authentic social media tribute filmed hours after her concert.

An Unforgettable Post-Concert Tribute

In the early hours of Sunday morning, following her spectacular RAC Arena performance that launched her Ma Vie World Tour in Australia, the Grammy winner shared a dimly lit, intimate video to TikTok that quickly went viral.

Stripped of her usual colourful wigs and flashy stage accessories, Doja Cat appeared genuinely moved as she addressed Perth directly. 'Hey, what's up y'all. I just wanted to say thank you for last night, that was f****** amazing and you're very cool, and when you support me it feels very good,' she said modestly.

The singer, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, promised to deliver even better shows while explaining she'd be on vocal rest to recover from the energetic performance.

From Stage Antics to Social Media Romance

During her Perth concert, the 30-year-old performer rocked an 80s-inspired look featuring big blonde hair, a leopard print body suit and purple leggings.

She also addressed recent criticism from Auckland fans about not changing costumes mid-show like other pop stars. In a characteristically unpredictable move, Doja snatched a sign from a fan in the mosh pit that read 'F***k costume changes' and briefly chewed on it.

But it was her post-concert social media activity that truly captured attention. Continuing her oddly romantic love letter to Perth, the Paint the Town Red singer added: 'You looked so good today, did you get a haircut? ... I love you.'

The video took an even stranger turn when Doja closed her eyes and began to simulate a tongue kiss with the camera before catching herself and teasing, 'just kidding'.

What's Next for Doja Cat's Australian Tour

Doja Cat concluded her unexpected tribute by confirming her tour schedule, mentioning 'I think we're going to Brisbane next' before her final 'Thank you, Perth'.

The international star is due to perform in Melbourne on Tuesday night at Rod Laver Arena, continuing what has already become a memorable Australian tour launch that Perth fans won't soon forget.
