Fans of a major US hit maker have expressed their worry after the star repeatedly slipped and stumbled on stage at the Summertime Ball.
Yesterday, 80,000 revellers packed Wembley Stadium for Capital’s annual festival, but one singer became the talk of the event.
A video of Stephen Sanchez has emerged, showcasing the star’s chaotic performance at the Summertime Ball. Taking the stage dressed in a flamboyant peach suit, the Until I Found You hit maker began performing but was soon seen slipping and sliding across the stage. At one point, Sanchez appeared to nearly fall off the stage as he struggled to regain his balance. However, he eventually ripped off his shoes and continued dancing.
Sharing the video, TikToker @_floss_ wrote over the clip: “The stage was really out to get Stephen Sanchez.” Floss’s followers quickly commented, with one saying: “Honestly at the end when he slid into stairs I just thought he had broken his toes!” Another added: “Be careful Stephen!” A third remarked: “This is a bad health and safety hazard! But he handled it so well.”
Other Stage Mishaps
Sanchez was not the only performer to face difficulties on stage. Fellow US star Jason Derulo was left red-faced after slipping on stairs and falling over during his Capital Summertime Ball performance. The singer took a stumble when he slipped down some stairs while walking onto the stage. However, the US singer-songwriter styled it out in his usual fashion and appeared unhurt, telling the crowd: “I survived!” Keeping his cool, he knelt and put his finger in the air while gathering his composure.
