Beeyp Road Bushfire Emergency: Leave Now Warning

Emergency Bushfire Threatens Perth Suburbs

Residents in parts of Aubin Grove and Banjup have been issued an urgent evacuation warning as an uncontrolled bushfire poses a significant threat to lives and properties. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) has declared a Watch and Act alert for the affected areas, urging unprepared residents to leave immediately.

Fire Details and Emergency Response

The blaze was first reported near Beeyp Road in Banjup around 2:40pm on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Multiple water bombers have been deployed to combat the fast-moving fire, which remains uncontrolled and continues to challenge firefighters.

The emergency warning covers residents south of Armadale Road, east of Tapper Road, west of Liddlelow Road and north of Coffey Road within the City of Cockburn. DFES has emphasized that conditions are rapidly changing, creating a possible threat to both lives and homes.

Critical Safety Instructions

Emergency services have provided clear instructions for affected residents. Those who plan to leave are advised to depart immediately in a westerly direction. Gibbs Road has been closed to facilitate emergency operations.

For residents choosing to stay and defend their properties, DFES has issued specific requirements. They must be mentally and physically prepared with protective clothing and an independent water supply. Homeowners should begin patrolling their properties immediately to extinguish any spot fires.

A separate advice warning has been issued for parts of Jandakot, Treeby and western sections of Aubin Grove. Authorities have noted a large amount of smoke in the area and recommend residents keep doors and windows closed.

The situation remains volatile as emergency crews continue working to contain the blaze. Residents are urged to monitor official channels for updates and follow all instructions from emergency services.
