Victoria Police have taken the extraordinary step of releasing chilling CCTV footage as they hunt for two men believed to be connected to the targeted execution of Athan Boursinos in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
The 31-year-old met a violent end on the evening of April 13th, gunned down in what investigators are calling a calculated and deliberate attack on Heversham Drive in Epping.
Dramatic Footage Reveals Persons of Interest
The newly released CCTV shows two men walking through a residential area just kilometres from the crime scene. Police believe these individuals may hold crucial information about the brutal slaying.
Detectives from the Homicide Squad describe the footage as capturing the men in the nearby Meadow Heights area shortly after the fatal shooting occurred.
A Community on Edge
The brazen nature of the attack has left the quiet Epping neighbourhood shaken. Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of gunfire, but despite their efforts, Boursinos could not be saved.
