Queensland police have launched a public appeal for information following a horrific house fire that has left a community in shock and multiple victims hospitalised with life-threatening injuries.
The terrifying incident unfolded at a residential property on Borilla Street in Emerald, Central Queensland, during the early hours of Tuesday morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene after receiving multiple distress calls around 2:30 AM.
Detectives from the Capricornia Criminal Investigation Branch are leading the urgent investigation and have confirmed they're treating the fire as suspicious. The intensity of the blaze required significant firefighting resources to bring under control.
