Fitness influencer Chelsea Jenks has revealed that her father, who was strict on her growing up, was the first person to suggest she pursue a career making adult content on OnlyFans. The 29-year-old British OnlyFans star launched her risque career three years ago after her father recommended the platform to bolster her income.
Father's Unlikely Suggestion
Jenks explained that her father, an avid boxing fan, noticed women boxers also using OnlyFans. “My dad is really into boxing, and you get a lot of women boxers who also do OnlyFans,” she said. “Years before I ever started, he actually said to me, ‘You should do OnlyFans.’ There was a female boxer he followed who had ‘no nudes’ written in her bio, and he thought it seemed like a good way to make money.”
Initially hesitant, Jenks recalled explaining to her father the reality of the platform. “I remember explaining to him it was a lot more than just pictures, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do it. Then a couple of years later, I finally launched my page. It’s funny that my dad was the one who put the idea of joining OnlyFans in my head before anyone else.”
Father's Approval and Ongoing Jokes
Despite knowing Jenks creates topless content, her father still approves of her career. “He 100 per cent knows I do topless content. That’s always been clear,” she said. “He asked me when I signed up what I’d be posting on there, and I was like, ‘um, probably just like a bra, and maybe some see-through underwear?’”
Jenks noted that her OnlyFans career has become a running joke between them. “He’ll say things like, ‘Chelsea would flash her boobs and get paid for it,’” she said. “It’s very tongue-in-cheek.”
Strict Upbringing Contrast
Ironically, Jenks described her father as very strict during her teenage years. “When I was like 16, I remember asking my dad, ‘Oh, can I go stay at my boyfriend’s house?’, and he would straight up be like ‘No’,” she said. “He didn’t want me to have sleepovers with boys and we’d have to be in separate beds and things like that.”
Not Everyone Accepts Her Career
Not everyone in Jenks' life has been as accepting as her dad. She revealed that a longtime family friend unfollowed her on social media shortly after she joined a content trip with other OnlyFans stars. The experience highlights the mixed reactions she faces from her inner circle.
