A teenage boy suffered injuries to his lower body and was taken to Sunshine Hospital in a serious but stable condition. Similarly, a teenage girl sustained injuries from her lower to mid-body and was also admitted to Sunshine Hospital, listed as serious but stable.
A woman in her 30s experienced lower to mid-body injuries and was transported to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where she remains in a serious but stable condition. A man in his 20s sustained mid-body injuries and was taken to Footscray Hospital, reported to be in a stable condition.
Neighbour Recalls Harrowing Screams
Neighbour Ravinder Kaur recounted the distressing sounds she heard on Thursday night, telling the ABC that she heard loud screaming from the property. "They were screaming very loud, like, 'Leave me alone, leave me alone,'" Kaur described, highlighting the intensity of the attack.
Dogs Seized and Euthanised
Following the incident, the aggressive dog was restrained by a council ranger. Authorities also seized a second dog belonging to the family from the address. Both animals have since been euthanised, as confirmed by local officials.
