An 80-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car in the carpark of a medical centre in Melbourne’s southeast. The incident occurred in front of the Narre Warren Medicare Urgent Care Clinic on Victor Cres at approximately 12:30pm on Thursday.
The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, stopped at the scene and is cooperating with police. Authorities have confirmed that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Police have not released further details at this stage, and no charges have been laid. The woman’s identity has not yet been formally released pending notification of next of kin.
