Jade Brycki Welcomes Second Son After Four Days of Broken Waters
Jade Brycki welcomes second son, Harvey Brooks

Perth-based social media star Jade Brycki and her husband Lachie have officially become a family of four, welcoming their second son into the world.

A Speedy Arrival for Harvey Brooks

Jade Brycki, the 30-year-old influencer with over 573,000 Instagram followers, took to the platform on Tuesday to announce the birth of her new baby boy. She revealed his name is Harvey Brooks Brycki, and he was born on November 19, arriving two weeks ahead of his expected due date.

The journey to his birth was not straightforward. Brycki shared that she experienced "four days of broken waters with no sign of showing up," which led to her being "reluctantly induced." Despite her initial hesitation about the induction, the labour itself was remarkably fast. She needed only nine minutes of pushing, a stark contrast to the hour and a half she experienced with her first son.

Celebrations from the Influencer Community

The happy news was met with an outpouring of love from Brycki's extensive network of friends in the public eye. The comments section of her Instagram post quickly filled with congratulations from fellow Australian influencers and TV personalities.

TV presenter Abbey Gelmi welcomed her to the "two boys club," while lifestyle blogger Elise Cook called Brycki a "super woman" and noted she shares Harvey's birthday. MAFS star Martha Kalifatidis and fitness entrepreneur Steph Claire Smith were among the many others who sent their well-wishes to the growing family.

A Journey of Resilience

Harvey's birth marks a joyful milestone after a difficult period for Brycki. The past year saw the passing of her beloved father. She has also been candid about her struggles following the birth of her first son, Fletcher, in June last year.

In a heartfelt discussion on the KICBUMP podcast with close friend Steph Claire Smith, Brycki opened up about postpartum challenges. She described the newborn stage as feeling like she had "fallen into a snake pit" with no relief, grappling with healing her body while simultaneously learning to care for a new baby.

Despite these past hardships, Brycki has also shared positive messages about body acceptance, posting a "before and after" bikini photo to encourage other new mums. The arrival of baby Harvey signals a new chapter of happiness for the Brycki family as they adjust to life with two little boys.
