A young motorcyclist has tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle crash that has left the Hunter Valley community in mourning.
The devastating incident occurred on Sunday afternoon along Wybung Road at Wybung, approximately 30 kilometres north of Newcastle. Despite the rapid response from emergency services, the man in his 20s could not be saved.

NSW Police confirmed they were called to the scene around 4:30 PM following reports of a serious crash. Officers from the Tuggerah Lakes Police District arrived to find the rider had suffered critical injuries.
"Despite the best efforts of attending paramedics, the man died at the scene," a police spokesperson stated.
