Perth Traffic: Kwinana Freeway Crash and Blacked-Out Lights

Traffic is heavy on Kwinana Freeway after a crash and blacked-out traffic lights have caused chaos across Perth. Motorists are being warned to brace for delays and dangerous conditions as wet weather adds to the challenges.

Crash on Kwinana Freeway

The biggest snarl-up is on the northbound Kwinana Freeway before Rowley Road at Mandogalup, where a crash has blocked the right lane. Towing crews are on the scene, and traffic is banking up heavily on approach. Motorists are urged to merge carefully through the congestion.

Blacked-Out Traffic Lights

Drivers are also battling blacked-out traffic lights across Wattle Grove and Forrestfield, affecting multiple intersections and raising the risk of crashes during busy traffic periods. Main Roads has warned motorists to slow down and give way to vehicles on their right while crews work to restore the signals.

Earlier Crash Cleared

Earlier, another crash near the intersection of Gnangara Road and Alexander Drive at Cullacabardee caused traffic delays. The crash has since been cleared, but traffic remains slow in the area.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and drive with caution in these hazardous conditions.
