Eves Karydas and Dan Puusaari Marry in Stunning Sunshine Coast Wedding
Eves Karydas Weds Cub Sport's Dan Puusaari in Queensland

Australian music power couple Eves Karydas and Dan Puusaari have officially tied the knot in a stunning estate wedding set within Queensland's picturesque Sunshine Coast hinterland.

The beloved musicians, who both launched their careers in Brisbane, shared their joyful news with fans on Thursday by posting a carousel of wedding photographs to social media, simply captioning the momentous occasion as the "Best day ever."

A Picturesque Maleny Celebration

The ceremony and reception took place at the luxurious 185-acre Maleny Country Estate, where the natural beauty of the hinterland provided a lush, green backdrop for the celebrations.

Karydas, aged 31, captivated in a stunning, eye-catching wedding gown designed by Simone Ellis, her flowing veil trailing behind her as the newlyweds were photographed frolicking happily across the estate's sprawling grounds.

Other intimate snaps from the day showed the couple sharing a tender kiss beside their elegantly decorated wedding cake, followed by another romantic moment captured amidst the nearby bushland.

Greek Traditions and Musical Beginnings

The singer's proud Greek heritage was a beautiful part of the festivities, with photos showing Karydas joyfully smashing plates in a traditional celebratory act. Her new husband, Puusaari, watched on with a beaming smile, happily handing her plates to break.

The couple's love story began seven years ago in the world of music. In 2018, Karydas joined Cub Sport on their BATS tour, a professional connection that blossomed into a deep personal romance.

Celebrating the full-circle moment, the band Cub Sport shared on their own Instagram account, "The lore of Eves Karydas joining us on the BATS tour in 2018 to now officially marrying into the cubbies family... love is beautiful."

Congratulations from the Music Community

The couple's wedding announcement was quickly flooded with warm wishes from fellow artists and adoring fans.

Sydney singer Graace commented, "Oh my gosh you look so beautiful ? congratulations ❤️", while artist Wafia affectionately wrote, "MUM AND DAD ?".

The wedding comes just months after the couple announced their engagement in May of this year, with the bride-to-be ecstatically saying "A thousand times, yes" to her long-time partner.

Karydas, who first emerged on the Australian music scene under the moniker Eves The Behaviour, released her second album Burnt Tapes in July 2024. Her single Complicated secured the number 22 spot in Triple J's Hottest 100 countdown in 2021.

Puusaari, 35, has been the drummer for the acclaimed band Cub Sport since its formation in 2010, performing alongside bandmates Tim Nelson, Sam Netterfield, and Zoe Davis.
