Perth Influencer Rahnee Bransby Unveils Unconventional 2027 Wedding Plans

Perth influencer Rahnee Bransby has revealed her unconventional wedding plans ahead of her 2027 marriage, which will be a destination wedding somewhere in Australia. The lifestyle and fashion influencer, with over 258,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok, got engaged in November and shared the news by posting a beautiful video of the proposal.

Her partner, Jian, placed an incredible yellow diamond ring on her finger that Bransby described as "beyond everything" she has ever dreamt of. In a TikTok video, Bransby explained that while the couple haven't organised all the details for the 2027 ceremony, they have decided on several non-traditional elements.

Legal Marriage Before the Wedding

Bransby said she and her partner will be legally married at a courthouse in Perth weeks before their wedding day. "After our first kiss and when we walk back down the aisle, we won't go away and sign papers," she said. The reason behind this is to spend more time with friends at the wedding, as they "are our whole world."

Involving Friends in Unique Ways

To ensure their friends are involved, the couple are considering asking one of their mates to be the officiant on the day. However, Bransby doesn't want the bridal party standing up front during the vows. "We want the photos to be just us at the front, so they will join us but only for a little bit," she said.

Streamlined Speeches and Socialising

After the official proceedings, Bransby plans to have all speeches done in bulk within 20 minutes to keep it short and sweet. "I've witnessed a lot at weddings, as the night goes on and speeches are broken up, people get a lot more rowdy," she explained. She also wants to break tradition by spending cocktail hour with guests rather than taking photos with the groom, saying, "I'm not missing having a margarita with my guests and mingling with them."

Digital Invites to Reduce Waste

In the lead-up to the wedding, Bransby won't be sending out paper invites. "We are 95 per cent leaning towards doing a destination wedding within Australia so I think we'll do a digital RSVP and save the day potentially on a website," she said. She added that this approach helps reduce waste and provides a central place for guests to refer to all wedding details.
