The couple's journey began before the global COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the world. After meeting, Leanne and Rod built a life together, which included the joint project of renovating a house. Their family grew with the adoption of two elderly Dalmatians, adding paws and personality to their home.

The bride looked radiant in a gorgeous gown by designer Romyda Keth, which she purchased during a trip to Cambodia. In a charming coincidence, the groom, Rod, also sourced his elegant wedding suit from the South-East Asian nation, choosing a tailored piece from Thomas Jaffre.
