The government has additionally offered voluntary departure options to Australian diplomats' family members currently residing in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Qatar.
Escalating Regional Tensions
The security advisory coincides with heightened geopolitical tensions in the region. US President Donald Trump recently addressed Congress during his State of the Union speech, outlining potential military action against Iran. President Trump emphasized that he would not permit what he termed "the world's biggest sponsor of terrorism" to obtain nuclear weapons.
Despite these tensions, diplomatic channels remain active. Two Men Charged Over Alleged 'Coconut Cartel' Car Fire
In separate developments, New South Wales police have arrested and charged two men in connection with an allegedly gang-related vehicle arson incident in Sydney's western suburbs.
The incident occurred on January 21 around 5am on Randolph Street in Guildford, where a Toyota SUV was allegedly deliberately set ablaze. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, fortunately reporting no injuries from the incident.

A 24-year-old man was arrested during the warrant execution and faces multiple criminal charges. He has been refused bail. A second suspect, aged 19, was arrested in Silverwater on Wednesday morning and charged with destroying property by fire and participating in a criminal group. Both men remain in custody and are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
Child Hospitalized After E-Scooter Collision with Ute
A ten-year-old boy has been hospitalized with serious injuries following a collision with a utility vehicle while riding an electric scooter in western Sydney.
