Homicide detectives are investigating after a man's body was discovered under suspicious circumstances in Melbourne's south-east. The body was found inside a parked car in Noble Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Walter Street shortly before 3pm following reports that a man had been found unresponsive in a vehicle. Paramedics attended the scene, but the man could not be revived.

The victim has not yet been formally identified, pending notification of next of kin. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. However, police have stated that the incident is being treated as suspicious at this early stage.
