A dramatic seven-hour police standoff that gripped a Geelong neighbourhood has concluded with the arrest of a man following intense negotiations with specialist officers.
The incident unfolded on Sunday afternoon in the quiet Corio suburb, prompting a massive police response that included the Critical Incident Response Team and trained negotiators.
