Man dies, three injured in WA rural car crash

A man has died and three others have been hospitalised after a car crashed and rolled in rural Western Australia.

A 24-year-old man was driving the Toyota HiLux ute along Samson Road in Jingalup, in the Great Southern region, when he lost control on the dirt road about 12:30 am on Saturday. The vehicle then crashed and rolled off the road.

Emergency services arrived at the scene where they found the 30-year-old male passenger had been critically injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other passengers, a 19-year-old woman and two men aged 18 and 20, were rushed to Kojonup Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Major Crash investigators have launched an inquiry into the incident. Anyone with information, including dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage, has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
