A new theory has emerged regarding the motive behind an alleged triple murder in central west New South Wales. This development comes as the extensive manhunt for accused killer Julian Ingram continues across the remote regions surrounding Mount Hope.

Police allege that on January 22, Ingram shot and killed his heavily pregnant ex-partner, 25-year-old Sophie Quinn, and her friend, 32-year-old John Harris. The victims were reportedly inside the back of Quinn's black Suzuki Swift on Bokhara Street in Lake Cargelligo at the time of the alleged attack.
Following this incident, Ingram is accused of driving several minutes to Walker Street. There, he allegedly opened fire, killing Quinn's 50-year-old aunty, Nerida Quinn, in the driveway of a residential property.

A friend of the 50-year-old victim's son, 19-year-old Kaleb Macqueen, was also seriously injured during the alleged attack. Macqueen has stated that Ingram was laughing as he fired the shots, adding a chilling dimension to the tragic events.
