Motorcyclist Critical After Crash with Ute in Redland Bay

A 28-year-old motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a collision with a utility vehicle in Redland Bay, south of Brisbane, on Saturday afternoon.

Crash Details

The man, from Victoria Point, was riding a blue Honda motorcycle when he crashed into a black BYD utility at the intersection of Cleveland-Redland Bay Road and Giles Road around 5pm.

The rider sustained serious head injuries and internal injuries in the crash. He was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

Driver Uninjured

The driver of the ute, a 42-year-old local man, was not physically injured in the incident.

Police Investigation

Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are urging anyone with relevant information or dashcam footage of the motorcycle prior to the crash to come forward.

The intersection is located approximately 45 minutes southwest of Brisbane.
