"It will be a sad day but hopefully a happy one," Coyle told the Geelong Advertiser, his voice filled with emotion. "He's been a wonderful horse for the stable and it would be a fairytale if he could win."

Chateaux Park's racing journey has been remarkable for its longevity and consistency. With eight wins and 22 placings from his 72 starts, he's amassed nearly $300,000 in prize money while becoming a familiar face on tracks across New South Wales.
"He's been a model of consistency his whole career," Coyle reflected. "He's never run a bad race and always gives his absolute best. That's why we love him so much."

"We've had this race in mind for his farewell for a little while," Coyle explained. "It's the right time, and this race suits him perfectly. He deserves to go out on his own terms."

"He might be getting on in years, but he still has that competitive spirit," Coyle said. "He knows when it's race day and he still gets that look in his eye."

"These old horses, they become part of you," Coyle said emotionally. "You spend more time with them than your own family sometimes. It's hard to say goodbye."
