Free Rugby Union Come and Try for Little Tackers

The Townsville District Rugby Union (TDRU) is inviting young children to a free come-and-try rugby union session. The event is designed for little tackers aged 4 to 12 years old, offering them a chance to experience the sport in a fun and safe environment.

Event Details

The free session will be held on Saturday, 15th October, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Townsville Rugby Union Fields. No prior experience is necessary, and all equipment will be provided. Parents are encouraged to bring their children along to try rugby union for the first time or to develop their skills further.

What to Expect

The event will include basic drills, games, and activities tailored to different age groups. Coaches from TDRU clubs will be on hand to guide the children and answer any questions from parents. The aim is to promote physical activity, teamwork, and a love for the sport.
