According to the statement of environmental effects submitted with the application, the western two tennis courts would be removed entirely to make way for these new facilities.

The club plans to enlarge and cover an existing accessible bowling green located to the north of the main club building. This enhancement follows the club receiving a grant specifically aimed at improving facilities for disabled and socially disadvantaged groups.

Three bowling greens are retained by the works, two tennis courts are removed, the carpark closest the cabin accommodation is modified with new parking provided over the area of the two tennis courts."
