Radio network Gold FM has reportedly followed Channel Nine and dumped Karl Stefanovic from its books. 7NEWS is seeking confirmation of the move from Gold owner ARN, just three weeks after the launch of The Long Weekend, a Friday afternoon chat show anchored by Stefanovic and Eddie McGuire.
Stefanovic Absent from Recent Show
The 51-year-old was absent for last week’s program, with McGuire hosting solo. Stefanovic was last week sacked by Nine after 20 years fronting Today, following his private podcast interview with British right wing activist Tommy Robinson.
