Shed fire erupts in Dawesville, Mandurah

A shed has gone up in flames at a home near Mandurah, with plumes of thick black smoke billowing from the back of a property on Saturday morning.

Fire Details

It is believed the fire started at about 10.30am on Estuary Road in Dawesville, approximately 87 kilometres from Perth. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) has confirmed that three firetrucks from Mandurah and Falcon are currently on the scene, with additional units en route.

Witness Accounts

Witnesses have reported hearing loud bangs emanating from the property. Dozens of onlookers from the nearby farmers market were seen rushing to adjacent homes to assist in evacuating residents as a precautionary measure.
