Teenagers Arrested After Boy Found Dead Outside Melbourne Hospital

Two teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old boy was left with suspected stab wounds outside a hospital in Melbourne and later died.

Incident Details

The boy was found critically injured outside Craigieburn Community hospital on Lygon Drive, in Melbourne’s north, at about 7.50pm on Wednesday. A staff member from the medical centre rushed to his aid and performed CPR, but the boy could not be saved and died at the scene.

Police stated that a crime scene has been established and the boy, from Mickleham, has not yet been formally identified.

Arrests Made

At about 5.30am on Thursday, a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man were arrested in the nearby suburb of Pascoe Vale. They will be interviewed by homicide squad detectives, according to Victoria police.

The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
