A pet lamb wearing a distinctive blue collar with a bell was stolen from a farm in Dwellingup, about an hour south of Perth, in broad daylight. The owner has issued a desperate plea on social media, offering a reward for the animal's safe return and asking the thief to “have a heart.”
Owner's Social Media Appeal
In a post shared on Facebook, the owner described the theft, stating that someone pulled up outside the farm in a white or light-colored dual cab Rodeo or similar ute and took the lamb. “He would have run straight to you. You could have put him over the fence, instead you took him,” she wrote. The lamb is described as extremely friendly and obviously a pet, making the theft particularly distressing.
Reward and Community Alert
The owner is offering a reward for the lamb's return, no questions asked. She urged the community to be vigilant, especially if anyone arrives home with a friendly male lamb from the mines or the Boddington direction. “Please bring him back, no questions asked,” she pleaded.
