A 36-year-old man from Attadale has been charged with drink driving following a serious crash in Fremantle that left a 24-year-old passenger with severe injuries. The incident occurred at the intersection of Carrington and Marmion streets around 8:40pm last Sunday.
Details of the Collision
According to police, a white Toyota Camry and a white Ford Ranger collided at the intersection. The passenger in the Camry was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital with serious injuries. Both drivers were treated at the scene but did not require hospitalisation.
Charges Laid
The driver of the Ford Ranger, a 36-year-old Attadale man, has been charged with exceeding the legal blood alcohol limit of 0.08. He is scheduled to appear in Fremantle Magistrates Court on July 3.
