In a striking display of technological advancement, US First Lady Melania Trump walked down a red-carpeted hallway at the White House accompanied by a humanoid robot named Figure 03. Restaurant staff had to physically restrain the apron-wearing bot as it waved its arms wildly, knocking over tableware, smashing plates, and sending chopsticks flying across the dining area. One employee held the robot by the scruff of its neck while desperately trying to use her phone to locate its controls.
Eventually, three workers managed to subdue the wayward device, all ducking to avoid being struck by its flailing limbs. The restaurant chain later told NBC News that the robot "was not malfunctioning or out of control," claiming its movements were preprogrammed but occurred in "a closer-than-usual setting."
Vision for AI in Education
Trump, a former model, elaborated on her vision for educational technology, describing how humanoid teachers could soon access classical studies, mathematics, and other subjects to deliver personalized education tailored to individual students' learning speeds and emotional states.
