Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce are reportedly planning to tie the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with more than 1,000 guests expected for what is being billed as the celebrity wedding of the year.
Venue and Date Details
The couple has chosen the iconic music venue, where Swift has performed numerous times, for their nuptials. According to venue schedules, Madison Square Garden has no events booked from June 29 to July 6, 2025, and the wedding is anticipated to take place over the weekend of July 3 to 5.
Celebrity Guest List
A host of A-list celebrities are rumored to be attending. People magazine reports that Swift's longtime friend, British singer Ed Sheeran, has received an invitation, as has actress Zoe Kravitz. Model, singer, and actress Suki Waterhouse, who opened for Swift during an Eras Tour show in London, confirmed to Variety that she will be at the wedding. Model Gigi Hadid and singer Selena Gomez are also expected to attend.
TMZ reported that Swift personally called friends to invite them, rather than sending traditional invitations. The outlet also claimed that guests were asked to sign a "strict non-disclosure agreement" before receiving further details.
Engagement and Guest List Philosophy
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025 with a series of loved-up images from the proposal. While Swift has remained tight-lipped about wedding specifics, she has spoken about curating the guest list. "The only stressful weddings are ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble," Swift said on The Graham Norton Show. "And you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them, to see if they should be there. I'm not gonna do that." Instead, she joked, "anyone I've ever talked to" will receive an invitation.
