Dayne Brajkovich has pleaded not guilty to charges of displaying outlaw insignia after allegedly wearing a black-and-white Las Vegas Raiders singlet in public. Police allege that the American football team’s logo has become a de facto symbol of the Mongols bikie gang, which shares the same black-and-white colour scheme.
The case is part of a broader police crackdown on outlaw bikie gang colours and what authorities perceive as a loophole being exploited through the wearing of Raiders merchandise. Brajkovich appeared before Perth Magistrates Court on Friday facing five counts of displaying outlaw insignia in a public place, one count of disorderly behaviour in public, and one count of failing to comply with a move-on order.
During the hearing, the magistrate heard a plea for one of the insignia charges, which alleged that Brajkovich wore a Las Vegas Raiders NFL singlet on November 17, 2025. The well-known bikie figure entered a not guilty plea. His lawyer, Patrick Gardner, requested a six-week adjournment for the latest charges.
Authorities claim that Raiders merchandise has been adopted by Mongols members as an unofficial club patch. Fellow bikie Troy Mercanti also faced court this week on similar charges. These cases are expected to test whether Las Vegas Raiders gear can be deemed a de facto symbol of the Mongols bikie gang under Western Australian law.
Brajkovich’s bail was renewed, and he is scheduled to next appear before Perth Magistrates Court on June 5 for legal advice.
