Business Owner's Relief

Business owner Emily said she was thankful the “horrifying incident” didn’t happen while she was working and had clients in her house. While no one was hurt, the outcome could have been much worse, she said.

“An out of control car ploughed through the front of my home just before school pick up time,” Emily said. “The most busiest street in the estate, with so many children and families who walk these paths each and every day! The car flew around the corner at the roundabout with such force it’s taken out the whole front of my home. It’s caused so much devastation to my home and also my beauty business, my heart is broken.”

She said “significant” damage had been done to her home and she had lost everything she used for her beauty business. “To all the beautiful people who came to check we were ok, my beautiful neighbours, clients, friends and family I thank you for offering all your support.”

Police Investigation

Police are investigating the accident. Anyone with any information has been urged to come forward. The part of the home where the crash occurred is used for an at-home lash and brow business, which has been completely disrupted by the incident.
