Missing teen Aaliyah Haifa may be in Wollongong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing teenage girl who may have travelled hundreds of kilometres from where she was last seen.

Aaliyah Haifa last seen in Gosford

Aaliyah Haifa, 14, was last sighted in Gosford around 1:40am on Wednesday, May 20. Her family and police hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her young age.

Authorities describe Aaliyah as Caucasian with a medium build, standing approximately 155 centimetres tall, with red hair. She was last seen wearing a black hooded jersey and black pants, according to a NSW Police spokesperson.

Known locations and police appeal

The teenager is known to frequent the Wollongong and Bomaderry areas. Police urge anyone who has seen Aaliyah or has information about her whereabouts to come forward.

In addition, Illawarra police are seeking information on several long-term missing persons last seen or heard from in the region.
