According to police reports, a silver Toyota Kluger SUV was traveling along Nicholson Road in the suburb of Lynwood at approximately 3:40 AM when it suddenly veered off the carriageway. The vehicle then collided with a tree with significant force, causing extensive damage and triggering immediate emergency protocols.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 35-year-old man who was operating as a ride-share driver at the time of the accident, sustained only minor injuries in the crash. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and later released.
Serious Injuries and Tragic Outcome for Young Passengers
The passengers in the vehicle included a 32-year-old woman and two young children. Emergency services rushed the woman and a seven-month-old infant to Fiona Stanley Hospital, where both were admitted with serious injuries.
